Nikoleta proved everyone wrong when she successfully launched her new bakery, Nikoleta’s Sweet Creations, in Greece. She was able to look past the risk, and towards the bigger business opportunity. By believing in herself, she is today living out her bakery dreams.

Runa Haug Khoury, then CEO of AION, understood how important it is to “walk the walk’ when it comes to plastic waste management. Based out of Sweden, AION is dedicated not only to recycling plastic in a transparent and sustainable way, but also to collect data as they go to precisely calculate environmental impact and contribute to a true circular plastic economy.

With three decades of experience under his belt, founder and CEO of Romanian company Pop Industry, Dan Popescu, hasn’t forgotten the uncertainty & struggles of the early days. Dan’s fierce competitive spirit has meant that he can begin to pass the reigns to his son.

Confidently skilled

It takes courage to rethink your career, but this is exactly what Victoria Marmili did in Spain. Thanks to EU financial support, she was able to reskill and train in coding. This enabled her to improve her job prospects, and within days be offered a new coding position.
